"I can recognize the hand of God in the work we are about to begin. To the arms, my friends, and to the habit of winning"

--Hernán Cortés, Conqueror of Mexico

Christmas night 1568. The Moors in the kingdom of Granada have
started a revolt against Spanish rule with the promise of help from Turkish and Berber kings. They have killed priests and elders in every town and burnt the churches. Their leader, Aben Humeya, has an important army but in a few days Christian armies from Andalusia, Castile, Murcia and Valencia will arrive in Granada.
