- It took 300 years to recover
from the great war of 3000, when the U.S. fell to nuclear war
and took the rest of the world with it. The result was the death
of three billion people and most of the world under water.
Over the next 200 years the former U.S. was repopulated by various
strains of the former states. The North American arena now lies
solely underwater with merely a fringe of the former land that
used to be. Within these islands the radiation caused
many mutations and the only threat to peace springs from the
wealthy Mutant League.
